So i was noticing today while setting up some songs for a Disco in a Halloween alternative party tomorrow at a Church.. i thought "Yea DDR Music is fairly clean!" ... until.. such time... as i read the lyrics.
Songs like "WAKA LAKA" , "KISSY KISSY" and many more classic Dance Dance Revolution songs we've seen across the board since before 3rd mix are crossing boundaries with dual natured lyrics.
What is it... that makes these songs have what is known as a "Double Entendre" ?

I don't personally have an answer - but i invite you to take a look into the lyrics from many of these classics and see what the true meaning is. There's no real PROBLEM on my part with this except for when you let kids play DDR and hear the lyrics and not understand a damn thing happening lol. Other songs i've looked at with this issue are PINK DINOSAUR and BUMBLE BEE.Most of these i've seen have lyrically a huge sexual theme out of it's cute and cheerful lyrics lol. Unlike bands like E-ROTIC and other risque ones from the konami soundtracks.
So what is it that makes a good dual natured song is my question i guess lol - how long is it before the parents find out what the lyrics really are? Don't get me wrong i LOVE THE DDR series, Dancemania etc - it's just a matter of the amount of songs that are bit ODD for under a certain age. This age range i'd suggest for DDR is about 8+ any younger and they'd be a bit too inquisitive about it.

Also wanna complain about the following: Dancing Stage Universe / XBOX360
IT IS SERIOUSLY HARD FOR ME TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO SET IT UP AND FIGURE OUT HOW TO WORK THE DARN CONTROLLLLSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD
Anyways, Reiko out :P
